Josiah Tostenson, a junior at Crater High in Oregon, secured seventh place in the boys invitational 3,200 meters in 8:39.89, elevating to the No. 2 all-time competitor in the state with his performance at the 56th Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High in California. Tostenson was one of seven competitors to clock sub-8:40 and among 27 athletes to run under 8:50.
