Josiah Tostenson, a sophomore at Crater High in Oregon, finished fifth in the Doug Speck boys sweepstakes race at the 41st Woodbridge Classic Presented by ASICS at Great Park in Irvine, Calif. Tostenson became one of 17 male athletes in meet history to eclipse the 14-minute barrier, clocking 13:57.4, making him the fastest sophomore in meet history. Tostenson also helped Crater take second with 139 points.
